Process Breakdown

Processing on the Graduate Visa can take between 10-12 weeks, please bear this in mind when selecting your dates. 

Process breakdown:

• After you apply online via the Grad Visa website you will have access to your USIT account to schedule your introduction call with the Grad Team. During this call we will run through the programme in detail, answer any questions you may have, complete the over the phone interview and get you set up with your US Sponsor Application. 
• Once you have completed your phone call, further instructions will be emailed to you. You can also now make your second payment on your USIT account.
• The Grad team will review your application and once everything is complete, we will send your application to your US Sponsor for vetting and approval. Approval can take between 7-10 business days. 
• Once approved, your DS2019 will be issued by your US Sponsor. Final payment is due before your DS2019 can be released to you. 
• Once you have made your final payment, we will be emailing you all the details you need to download your DS2019 and to schedule your US Embassy appointment. 
• When you attend your embassy appointment, they will hold on to your passport for between 5-10 business days to issue the visa. 
• Once you have your passport back from the embassy you are ready to travel. 

*Processing timeline takes in to consideration time for participants to complete the application and submit supporting documents however if no progress has been made in a reasonable timeframe processing can take longer. After you have completed your phone call, we are unable to move forward with your application until all steps are complete, insurance is submitted and your second deposit is paid.
