Pre Clearance and Immigration

Modified on Fri, 11 Apr at 8:23 PM

Ensure you allow enough time to check in at the airport and pass-through immigration if you are travelling direct from Dublin or Shannon. Pre-Clearance can be busy and may take significant time to pass through, so be sure to arrive at the airport 3-4 hours before your boarding time

If you are traveling on a non- direct flight, you will pass through immigration when you arrive in the USA.

You must travel with the below documents

  • Passport (with your visa sticker)
  • DS2019 Work Papers
  • Access to proof of funds in your current account – We recommend requesting a statement in the days before you travel.
  • Insurance information to hand.

Make sure you bring printed versions of all documents mentioned above.
