Program evaluations are one of the many reasons why the 1-Year Graduate USA Visa Program is so successful at delivering valuable professional development and cultural exchange opportunities. They also serve as way for both IENA and the U.S. Department of State to ensure that J-1 exchange programs meet the needs of participants.
Please note: Program evaluations are required. Failure to complete these evaluations can result in the termination of your program.
HOW DO I COMPLETE A PROGRAM EVALUATION?
IENA will email you with links and instructions for completing evaluations. Prior to the approval of any placement, IENA will require a monthly check in during the first 90 days. Once the DS-7002 is completed upon approval of a host site, the evaluations will be sent by email at the end of every training phase.
HOW MANY EVALUATIONS MUST I COMPLETE?
You must complete evaluations at the end of each training phase. These are a U.S. Department of State requirement of the J-1 Visa Exchange Visitor Program.
CAN I PROVIDE FEEDBACK AT OTHER TIMES DURING MY PROGRAM?
Of course! IENA and USIT welcomes direct communications from participants and host organizations. They want to know what is working well for you, what could be improved, and how they can be better at delivering the cultural exchange and support you expect from us.
